Steps to Get Your G1 Driver's Licence
# 1 Bring Personal Identification
Any docuement showing Your Valid and Real Name, Signaure, age. For example:
- Passport
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- PR Card
- Permanent Immigration docuements
- Temporary Immigration docuements
Please note:
In case if above document don't provide proof of three requirements of age, signature and name, then you need to bring additional
supporting documents e.g. Birth Certificate for legal name and date of birth. Ontario Health Card for Ontario Student Card for signature.
If you don't have any document for signature, then you need to find a Gurantor and fill our form "Declaration from a Gurantor" form.
# 2 - Find and Visit a Driver Examination Center.

# 3 - Pay the Licence Fees at Driver Examination Center.

$125 - G1 Licence - cost includes Knowledge Test + G2 Road Test (to book later) + Five Year Licence.
$75 - G2 Road Test
$75 - G Road Test
Typically accepted Method of Payments:
Cash, Credit, Debit cards, Certified Cheque (made payable to "DriveTest"), Money Order, Travellers Cheque.

# 4 - Answer some Basic Questions about Your Health.

Some people with certian medical condition or physical challenges are not allowed to drive, for their safety and others safety.
All applicants will be asked some questions about their for Health.
If any Medical and/or Physical condition change at any time during your graduated and final G licence, you must report any change that
may effect your driving.
Doctors and optometrists are required to report people who have medical and physical challenges that make driving unsafe for them and others on road.
# 5 - Take the Written Test
- Your knowledge will be test by giving you 40 questions (20 signs and 20 driving related questions).
- You will be given enough time to complete test.
- Test will be marked and notified you if you are passed or failed right at the center.
- If you pass, you will get paper copy of G1 test.
- If you fail, you can rewrite it any time. You need to pay a small fee again.
